厦门本地有非常多的跨境电商企业，也有很多国际法律事务；再加上我对国际法律业务、英文沟通交流比较感兴趣，去年已经参加过一次，这次是我第二次参加“国际法前沿问题暑期研修班”。

本次研究班邀请了6名国内外教授，给来自中国、印度、美国、斯里兰卡、尼泊尔、泰国的学员们讲课。内容涵盖国际法前沿问题，包括网络空间国际法、网络行动国际法、国际税法、国际投资仲裁运作机制等。教授们全英文教学，精彩的课程让学员们意犹未尽。
Six domestic and foreign professors were invited to give lectures to students from China, India, United States, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Thailand. The content covers cutting-edge issues of international law, including international law in cyberspace, international law in cyber operations, international tax law, and the operational mechanism of international investment arbitration. The professors taught in English, and the wonderful courses made the students unsatisfied.
很多人都好奇，中文教学都听得有点吃力，英文教学怎么听得懂。
Many people are curious about how to understand English teaching because they have a little difficulty listening to Chinese teaching.
为了听懂英文内容，我想了三个办法，第一个是用有道翻译官软件，这个软件的识别能力较强，可以实现同步翻译。通过这个软件可以大概了解老师大概在讲什么；第二个是用微信本人的拍照识别翻译功能，把看不懂的英文拍下来，马上就可以用中文显示，方便理解；第三个就是书写做笔记了。在纸张上写下英文关键词。国际法里面有很多专属英文词汇，只要把关键词快速记录下来并记住含义，然后在后面的材料中就可以快速识别，有助于理解。多重复几次，课堂的内容也能理解个大概了。
In order to understand the English content, I thought of three ways, the first is to use Youdao translator software, this software has strong recognition ability and can achieve synchronous translation. Through this software, you can get a general idea of what the teacher is talking about; The second is to use WeChats own photo recognition and translation function to take a picture of the English you cant understand, and you can immediately display it in Chinese for easy understanding; The third is to write and take notes. Write down the English keywords on the paper. There are many exclusive English words in international law, as long as you quickly record the key words and remember the meaning, and then you can quickly identify them in the later materials, which is helpful for understanding. Repeat it a few times so that you can understand the content of the class.
参与本次研修班学习，和授课老师、本地律师友人、外国友人、学员、志愿者们交流，也收获了很多快乐和新感受。有来自本地头部律所的优秀律师，张晨蓉、马轶琳、梁婕律师；也有来自国外的优秀的，多才多艺的友人Ankit Shrivastava、Budwin、Sadikshya、朱丽娜等，还有很多乐观积极的国际法学生、毕业生们。他们勇于提出问题、交流问题、强烈的求知欲让我印象深刻，这也是我一直在追求的。
Participating in this workshop and communicating with teachers, local lawyers, foreign friends, students, and volunteers also gained a lot of happiness and new feelings. There are excellent lawyers from local leading law firms, such as Zhang Chenrong, Ma Yilin, and Liang Jie、Liu Xueqi; There are also excellent and versatile friends from abroad, such as Ankit Shrivastava, Budwin, Sadikshya, Zhu Lina, etc., as well as many optimistic and positive international law students and graduates. I was impressed by their courage to ask questions, communicate questions, and have a strong desire to learn, which is what I have been pursuing.

✅全程英文教学！高频次的专业词汇！高端的国际法前沿问题，网络，水资源，投资！对律师了解世界前沿国际法研究内容，拓展视野，增加思路很有意义的。
✅认识了很多优秀的律师同行小伙伴，和热情的外国友人们，泰国 斯里兰卡 尼泊尔 印度 美国，国籍不通，烦恼的事情一模一样：教授教的太难了！听不懂！
✅发现和英文交流完全不是问题，只要敢说，都可以愉快沟通吐槽！开始期待去他们国家拜访啦！
✅ For the second time, I participated in the summer course on international law organized by the School of International Law of Xiamen University, and I gained two weeks of happiness.
✅ The whole course is taught in English. High-frequency technical vocabulary. High-end frontier issues of international law, cyber, water resources, investment. It is of great significance for lawyers to understand the world’s cutting-edge international law research content, expand their horizons, and increase their ideas.
✅ I have met a lot of excellent lawyer peers, and enthusiastic foreign friends, Thailand Sri Lanka Nepal India United States, nationality is not clear, and the troubles are exactly the same: the professor teaches too hard! Do not understand!
✅ I found that communicating with English is not a problem at all, as long as you dare to speak, you can communicate happily! I’m looking forward to visiting their country!
✅在国际法夏季学习的感想。
✅第一关于国际法实用性的问题。网络法，水资源法在属于国际法前沿问题，但是离律师实务较远。不过学习中可以扩展视野，开拓解决问题思路，找到国际交流共同话题。
✅第二律师在国际法中，更想关注国际投资仲裁类的实务内容，涉外业务大多数是投资，仲裁，婚姻，继承业务。如何在传统业务中找到新方法，可以作为研究课题。
✅Reflections on the summer study of international law.
✅First, on the question of the practicality of international law. Cyber law and water resources law are frontier issues in international law, but they are far from lawyers’ practice. However, in the course of studying, you can broaden your horizons, develop ideas for solving problems, and find common topics for international exchanges.
✅In international law, the second lawyer wants to pay more attention to the practical content of international investment arbitration, and most of the foreign-related business is investment, arbitration, marriage and inheritance business. How to find new methods in traditional business can be used as a research topic.
厦门国际法高等研究院（以下简称“研究院”）作为国际性的学术机构，旨在为包括青年讲师、外交官、法律从业人员、政府官员以及国际组织官员在内的有志于国际法学科发展或实务应用的广大专业人才提供最高水平的法律专业教育。研究院的主要工作之一是举办国际法前沿问题研修班，研修班采取全英文授课形式，课程内容兼具学术性与实践性。2006年至今，研究院已成功举办16届研修班，邀请了近百位来自世界各地的知名国际法教授、国际法院法官及专家学者前来授课。
Xiamen Academy of International Law (Xiamen Academy), located in the hauntingly beautiful city of Xiamen, China, was established after the first meeting of the Curatorium held in the Peace Palace, The Hague, in July 2005. It is an international institution aiming to provide highest level education to individuals who are particularly sensitive to the development and use of international law, such as young lecturers in international law, diplomats, practitioners of law, government officials in charge of foreign affairs, and officials in international organizations. The mission of the Academy is to promote academic exchanges among legal communities across the globe, encourage examination of major international issues, and by so doing seek ways to improve the possibilities for world peace and international cooperation. One of the main tasks of the Institute is to organize seminars on frontier issues of international law, which are taught in English and are both academic and practical. Since 2006, the Institute has successfully held 16 seminars, inviting nearly 100 well-known professors of international law, judges of the International Court of Justice, experts and scholars from all over the world to give lectures.
